Open Garden at Howbury Hall

Following a very enjoyable garden opening at Howbury Hall, Renhold, on 28th June, almost £2000 was raised towards the Tower, Clock & Bells Appeal. We are very grateful to Julian Polhill and Lucy Copeman.

Visitors enjoyed homemade cakes and scones with cream & jam while some took away a bucket of fresh flowers from Lucy's flower garden.

This follows another highly successful boost to the Appeal when at a private event the 12 existing bells were individually sponsored to the tune of £128,750. There is still an opportunity to contribute towards the new Community Bell. Enquiries to clockandbells@stpaulschurchbedford.org.uk
